TruCan ULTRA (Duramune DAP) 25x1

TRUCAN ULTRA Duramune DAP, by Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc., is the first and only premium 1/2 mL vaccine line for dogs of all sizes. ULTRA Duramune offers a more comfortable injection with 50% less volume and has the same high level of efficacy and potency that has made Duramune a trusted name for 30 years. ULTRA Duramune DAP is a Modified Live Vaccine for Canine distemper, Adenovirus 2 and Canine Parvovirus 2b.

This product has been shown to be effective for vaccination of healthy dogs 6 weeks of age or older against canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis, canine adenovirus type 2 and canine parvovirus (CPV). This product contains a CPV 2b strain which has been demonstrated effective against disease caused by CPV 2c in puppies with CPV maternal antibody.

Directions for use

• General directions: Aseptically rehydrate this product with Sterile Diluent supplied. Administer one 0.5 mL dose subcutaneously.

• Primary vaccination: The presence of maternal antibody is known to interfere with the development of active immunity in dogs and additional boosters will be required in most young animals. All dogs should initially receive one dose of this product and a second dose 2 to 3 weeks later.

Historically, annual revaccination with a single dose has been recommended for this product. The need for this booster has not been established. For advice on revaccination frequency and annual booster vaccinations, consultation with a veterinarian is recommended.
