Bronchicine™CAe is prepared from antigenic material extracted from the Bordetella bronchiseptica organism. A highly immunogenic strain of B. bronchiseptica is grown to a high yield, then subjected to a unique process which extracts the antigens from the Bordetella cells. The residual cell debris is then removed, resulting in a product which retains the desirable immunologic qualities of the whole cell, while reducing toxic and other undesirable side effects with whole cell bacterins.

The BRONCHICINE CAe is licensed for the vaccination of healthy dogs eight weeks of age or older. This vaccine aids with controlling canine infectious tracheobronchitis (kennel cough) caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica.
