Rimadyl caplets and chewable tablets contain carprofen, an NSAID of the propionic acid class. It is indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and for the control of postoperative pain associated with soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries in dogs. For oral use in dogs only.
| Directions | Carprofen is given by mouth in the form of a tablet. It may be given with or without food, but giving with food reduces the chances for stomach upset. If vomiting occurs when dosed on an empty stomach, give future doses with food or a treat. |
