Equine Potomavac™ + IMRAB® is for vaccinating horses against disease caused by rabies virus and aids in the prevention of disease in horses caused by Potomac horse fever (equine monocytic ehrlichiosis) caused by Ehrlichia risticii. This highly effective combination vaccine contains inactivated E. risticii combined with inactivated rabies virus to help protect your horse against Potomac horse fever which can lead to fever, colic, watery diarrhea and abortion, and rabies, a nervous system infection which is invariably fatal once symptoms develop.
Equine Potomavac™ + IMRAB® is a killed vaccine safe for intramuscular administration in healthy horses and foals at least 3 months of age. Unvaccinated horses will require a primary two-dose vaccination, three to four weeks apart. Annual revaccination is recommended. No reconstitution required.
Directions | For primary vaccination, aseptically inject 1 mL (1 dose) intramuscularly into healthy horses 3 months of age or older. For E. risticii, revaccinate with 1 dose 3 to 4 weeks later using this product or EQUINE POTOMAVACâ„¢. Revaccinate annually with a single 1 mL dose. |
